About Bill
Bill Kambol is an American artist residing in Saint Louis, Missouri with his two amazing children. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts concentrating in Industrial Design. He enjoyed a nearly 30 year structural design career where he successfully designed and developed award-winning in-store displays and specialty gift packs. After hours, Bill honed his painting and drawing skills in several different mediums including oils, graphite, and watercolor.
Bill has always been fascinated by the human figure, particularly portraits that capture the spontaneous moments in life. He has drawn inspiration from his own family as well as others. Bill has the unique ability to use humor to capture the human experience in his works.
Today, Bill focuses predominately on watercolor and his pen and ink sketchbooks. His watercolors are lively and filled with the energy of the moment and his drawings can be mesmerizing with multiple textures and patterns. As he embarks on this new direction to his creative career, Bill is available for commissions. Prints available of art shown on this site.
